How did we come up with the idea of creating the Nurme facial care line?

During our 13 years of operation, Nurme has offered natural cosmetics for the whole family. Over the years, our selection has improved – we have developed a haircare and body care line, and men’s and children’s cosmetics. Nurme’s goal has always been to provide body care for the whole family, from hair to toes. However, facial care line has been missing from our product range. Facial skin is quite demanding in terms of its needs, characteristics, and routine. Why did we decide to create a neroli face line?

Neroli oil is an essential oil produced from the flowers of the bitter orange tree. Neroli oil has powerful antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. This means that they act as cleansers and skin balancers, and can be very beneficial for those with acne-prone skin and problems with clogged pores. Neroli oil helps regulate the skin’s sebum production and can balance oily skin instead. However, unlike other citrus essential oils, it is not phototoxic. Which means it won’t make your skin sensitive to sunlight or other light, and you can safely use face care products during the day.
