Nurme lemongrass collection is a hair and body care line of 15 products that uses lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) essential oil. The collection combines two purposes around one plant:

Hair products have a functional focus – lemongrass helps balance sebum production and is suitable for oily scalps and fine, flat hair.
Body products have a sensory focus – the refreshing aroma of wild lemongrass makes washing moments a pleasure.

Oily scalp
If the scalp becomes greasy quickly and the hair looks oily again soon after washing, the scalp needs balancing and deep-cleansing care. Lemongrass shampoo for oily scalp cleans thoroughly without drying. Lemongrass essential oil supports the scalp microflora and helps extend the time between washes.
Fine hair

Body products have a sensory focus. In body care, lemongrass is above all a scent experience. We chose the name Wild Lemongrass for the collection deliberately, referring to a genuine, freely growing plant and the authenticity of a natural herb.

Lemongrass effect: what does science say?
Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) essential oil contains up to 80% citral, a compound with documented antimicrobial properties (Adukwu et al. 2016, Journal of Applied Microbiology). This is why lemongrass is used in products intended for oily skin and scalp – its antimicrobial effect helps balance the scalp microflora and reduce sebum production.

Yes. Two products are available in package-free bulk format. Package-free very foamy lemongrass soap and package-free solid shampoo with lemongrass, both 4×100g. In addition, we offer a 1L refill pack for both liquid products, which reduces plastic use by up to 75% compared with using individual bottles.

How long does the solid lemongrass shampoo last?
One 100g solid shampoo equals up to 3 standard 250 ml liquid shampoo bottles. It lasts an average of 2-3 months with daily use, depending on hair length and washing frequency.

Are the products compliant with EU cosmetics regulations?
