USE

Suitable for use for inhalation, in the bath, for compresses, in an aroma lamp, for massage. In skin and hair care it helps restore the natural glow and vitality of dull hair and tired skin.

IN FOLK MEDICINE

Basil essential oil has been used to relieve the symptoms caused by colds (expectorant), to ease nausea (including seasickness), to stimulate circulation, for toothache and for itchy insect bites.

Basil essential oil is suitable for people who suffer from digestive problems. Mix a couple of drops of essential oil with a base oil and apply the mixture directly to the stomach. Rest, and after a while the problems should ease and the work of the stomach and intestines should normalise.
