IN FOLK MEDICINE

Ylang-ylang essential oil is used in folk medicine for wound care (it speeds up healing), to relieve stress and strengthen the nervous system, in case of high blood pressure and to balance the hormonal system. This oil is used to increase sexuality, in case of headache and to relieve respiratory complaints.

Ylang-ylang essential oil helps balance the skin’s sebum production, making it suitable for both dry and oily skin; it is an effective moisturiser, restores the skin’s natural glow and revitalises the complexion. A GOOD TIP

For quick help in case of a panic attack, drip 1 drop of ylang-ylang essential oil onto a paper tissue. Then breathe out, cover your nose with the tissue and breathe in deeply. This action relaxes you completely and relieves the attack.
