Bergamot essential oil has a mood-lifting, energising effect and also relieves negative thoughts. Diffuse it into the air after a hard working day or before hosting guests. Bergamot also brings mental clarity and new mental strength, so it is worth keeping this oil close by alongside a difficult project or schoolwork.
Blends well with: ylang-ylang, patchouli, palmarosa, lavender, sage, peppermint, orange, juniper, lemongrass.
Our bergamot essential oil is FCF, i.e. Furocoumarin Free. Furocoumarins are compounds found in some plants that the plant produces to protect against insects, mould and other pests. In the human body, furocoumarins can have an activating or deactivating effect on some medicines. Therefore it is better to avoid such compounds as much as possible.
We confirm that the oil contains no parabens, prohibited preservatives, colourants or UV filters.
How to use
Do not use essential oils undiluted. Pregnant women and small children may use essential oils with extreme caution. Do not leave essential oils within reach of children.
Use: can be used in the bath, in an aroma lamp, for inhalation, in the sauna, for massage.
Bergamot essential oil is also a great help when quitting smoking. As stress and headaches may occur while giving up nicotine, we recommend also using soothing lavender and pain-relieving peppermint as well.
Bergamot essential oil relieves cold symptoms, stimulates circulation, increases appetite and helps with skin problems. It is often used in soaps, creams and shampoos. Add a few drops to your unscented shampoo – it soothes the scalp, promotes hair growth and adds shine.
