It is now possible to order pine tar soap without packaging. Packaging-free soap is always a good choice because it saves the environment – with one purchase you save 4 paper packages from going to recycling. You can get more soap without packaging at once so that you don’t have to burden the environment with transport for each piece of soap. The shipment will reach you in a paper bag in which it is good to keep the soaps until using them.
More info about why we love bar soap can be found HERE.
Nurme soap bars are made from natural ingredients using the cold process method. To achieve the highest quality, we dry soap bars at the right temperature for at least 30 days. During this time, the water originally added evaporates and soaps becomes soapy, harder and longer lasting. The longer the soap bar sits, the more it dries out and loses its weight, becoming like a seasoned Italian cheese, providing a treat for true natural cosmetics gourmets.
The weight on the packaging is the net value in grams at the time of packaging, i.e. 30 days after drying. You can read more about the production of Nurme soaps HERE.
